Overview

Responsible for the overall performance of the deliverables of the contract. Serves as the head executive with overall responsibility, accountability, and operational management for all deliverables contained in the RFP. 

Responsibilities

  • Serves as the head executive with overall responsibility, accountability, and operational management for all deliverables contained in the RFP
  • Serves as MAXIMUS primary point of contact with the State of Louisiana and Department Contract Monitors for activities related to contract administration, project management and scheduling, correspondence between the Departments and MAXIMUS, and status reporting to the State and Departments.
  • Ensures compliance with all applicable requirements of the Louisiana Office of State Procurement contract, state and federal requirements, and the terms and conditions of the RFP and proposal.
  • Establishes and maintains relationships with the State of Louisiana, Department of Health, Department of Children and Family Services, and future Departments to ensure effective communications.
  • Maintains and leads project staff to ensure client expectations and contractual goals are achieved.
  • Identifies and implements innovative management and technical solutions to improve overall performance and quality.
  • Develops performance goals and objectives for assigned staff, and monitors the achievement of those goals
  • Maintains and/or enforces all project and corporate-level policies and procedures.
  • Leads overall project quality and risk management activities and implements corrective actions as necessary to ensure consistent application of all laws, regulations, and policies and procedures pertinent to the project.
  • Communicate project status to Vice President and members of senior management.

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university, preferred in a health or social services field
  • Seven (7) years’ experience managing CSC programs and accounts/contracts
  • Two (2) years’ experience with state operations
  • Five (5) years’ experience as a primary client interface
  • Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Ability to successfully execute many tasks simultaneously, and ability to work as a team member, as well as independently
  • Advanced level of proficiency in Microsoft Office – Word, Project, Excel
  • Excellent analytical skills
  • Ability to use spreadsheet to do analysis
  • Attention to detail
