Compensation administration in base and variable pay. Work will include market and job analysis, responding to internal compensation inquiries, focal point review, and salary structure implementation. 


  • Assist with the development and implementation of compensation policies, programs, services and tools that improve process and efficiency with a focus on delivering a high level of customer service
  • Contribute to the communication, roll-out, and project management of the focal point salary planning and incentive payout processes at both the corporate and project levels
  • Participate in key compensation surveys and maintain market data. Gather market-based compensation data and compare to internal data
  • Provide analysis and recommendations in response to requests for new positions, new hires, and/or retention situations
  • Perform job analysis, position evaluation, and market pricing to ensure consistency in internal titling, job descriptions and salary recommendations
  • Ensure new positions are FLSA compliant
  • Maintain internal contracts database to ensure that compensation elements are consistent with customer and regulatory requirements

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, preferred field of study in Human Resources or Business area
  • 2-5 years’ experience
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) preferred
  • Demonstrated proficiency with administration/management of base pay compensation programs.
  • Strong analytical, technical and Excel skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to translate findings into clear and concise documents and presentations
  • Knowledge and understanding of laws and regulations relating to compensation (e.g., FLSA)
  • Experience working for government contractors preferred
  • Experience with populations covered by the McNamara-O’Hara Service Contract Act preferred
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a shared-services team environment.
  • Working knowledge of pertinent federal and state regulations, filing and compliance requirements
  • Working knowledge of Workday
