Overview

The Senior Analyst will act as a liaison among stakeholders in order to elicit, analyze, communicate, and validate requirements for changes to business processes, policies, and information systems.  Understands complex business problems and opportunities in the context of requirements and recommends solutions that enable the organization to achieve its goals.  The Senior Analyst provides policy direction and guidance to program staff, monitors policy changes, and continuously analyzes and supports project initiatives through process improvements.

Responsibilities

  • Document and analyze current business processes and determine improvements
  • Oversee work instruction changes processed through Operations Procedures Team
  • Extract, aggregate, pivot, review, analyze, and present data in various formats using advanced features of MS Excel and other software tools
  • Analyze quality practices, programs and policies, and organizational processes and make recommendations to address negative performance trends
  • Supervise the Operations Procedures Team's day-to-day performance
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Bachelors degree from an accredited college or university in Business Administration or related field preferred
  • Two (2) years analyst or technical writing experience required
  • Demonstrated experience identifying and implementing sustainable "best practice" solutions and procedures
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the work with requirements gathering and analysis
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, including Vision and Project
  • Survey, research skills, and statistical skills including familiarity with data aggregation and data analysis required
  • Knowledge and work experience with quality monitoring related to State and Federal health and human service programs (eg. CHIP, TANF, Food Stamps, Medicaid) preferred
  • Alternative or combined skills in understanding, selecting, developing, and motivating others
  • Ability to work well with constant change, ambiguous requirements that must be implemented in a clear and concise manner for line staff, while also meeting the policy of our client
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Survey, research skills, and statistical skills including familiarity with data aggregation and data analysis
