Overview

Responsible for researching and resolving member escalations to include but not limited to bankruptcies, voluntary withdrawals, payment plans, and any necessary adjustments and/or other financial transactions. Ability to follow all department and client policies, procedures, and regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Research member issues escalated from the call center prior to contacting member
  • Accurately processes adjustments and/or other financial transactions in accordance with department policies and procedures and MassHealth financial regulations. Fully documents adjustments and submits documentation to adjustment approver according to the department schedule
  • Provides excellent customer service – Outreach members and complete adjustment requests within a 24 hour turnaround time unless awaiting further information from the Client or another outside source
  • Perform special projects and tasks on an as needed basis
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree preferred
  • 1-3 years of experience required
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to navigate Excel and Word documents
  • Experience working in a Call Center environment
  • Accounting/Financial background and/or education preferred
