Overview

The responsibilities of the Case Aide - Data Entry include: making outbound calls to employers and participants, performing data entry, creating reports, partnering with Counselor - Case Managers, and ensuring supporting case documentation is accurate and timely.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure that all supporting documentation for case is present
  • Perform timely and accurate data entry into software systems
  • Communicate and partner with project staff and management to resolve cases
  • Respond to needs, questions and concerns of internal and external customers
  • Contact participants and/or employers on a daily, weekly, and/or monthly basis and document interaction and outcome
  • Create, analyze, and modify reports, as needed
  • Ensure compliance with all contractual, state, and federal requirements
  • Make outbound calls, respond to phone calls and voicemail, and fax documents routinely throughout the day
  • Perform other duties as assigned by management

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • At least one (1) year of experience in making outbound calls, performing data entry into case files and scanning required
  • At least one (1) year of experience in human services field (ideally case management) preferred
  • Strong knowledge of TANF, JOBS, food stamps, Medicaid, and child care preferred
  • At least an intermediate skill level (knowledge and experience) in use of personal computers and data entry, as well as related software applications such Microsoft Access, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel
  • Excellent customer service and telephone skills
  • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
  • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously
  • Ability work as a team member, well as independently, including a track record of interacting with all levels of staff, management and/or government
