This position is a Sr. level position within the capture organization reporting directly to the VP of Capture. This leadership position will have upward exposure providing frequent briefings to Sr. Leadership including Division SVP, GM and E-Suite. The position will have direct managerial accountability for up to 10 direct reports and delivery responsibility for capture and pursuit efforts. This position will be responsible and accountable for solution coordination with up to 20 organizational stakeholders and will architect competitive solutions under pricing constraints. The position is sometimes referred to as a solution architect.
The individual must align with the priorities and goals of the group and segment. The individual is responsible for quantitative win rates for core, new and adjacent markets. The position requires but is not limited to the coordination of pricing, solution development, staffing, key staff sourcing, privacy and security, and facilities acquisition.
The position requires the ability to make decisions about staff resources allocation while anticipating the balance of work within the team. The individual must promote the groups vision and cultural values, generating a sense of commitment and urgency toward achievement in a performance / merit based system. The individual must commit to both long term and short term tasks and manage simultaneously. The individual must foster a team mentality and work to develop junior staff including staff motivation.
The individual must set demanding yet attainable goals for self and others. The individual must review performance in comparison to goals and provide timely and specific feedback and coaching, consistently recognizing and rewarding superior performance promptly while addressing poor performance.
