    This is an excellent opportunity for a recent college graduate! 


    The Web Specialist assists in meeting the goals and objectives of the company through the design, maintenance, update and management of the organization’s web-based publications. Primary responsibilities include the configuration, maintenance and administration of the company web content management system.



    • Perform the configuration, maintenance and administration of the company web content management system.
    • Resolve CMS issues. 
    • Interact closely with Information Systems staff to define problem resolution and appropriate methods to test solutions.
    • Report web server issues, file management, vendor/IS mediation, and the tracking, recording and resolving of issues
    • Define web technology needs and enhancements; gather and analyze requirements and, in collaboration with the Web Manager and other technical staff, propose and implement solutions
    • Ensure best practices for secure content development and provide second tier technical support for the company web site.
    • Enhance site functionality while working within the boundaries of the application
    • Develop CSS and Java Scripting to improve design and delivery of content.
    • Further the development of the site both graphically and navigationally.
    • Integrate automation and improvements to enhance the end-user experience
    • Work in close cooperation with other departments to monitor, improve and update the look and functionality of the site and all of its component parts including design, user interface,
    • Content Management System (CMS) and information architecture to constantly improves the user experience
    • Design and implement internal and external web pages and applications, determining user needs, strategies, and goals; develop web pages and applications that meet those needs

    The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university, preferably in the field of Information Technology, or equivalent experience
    • At least three (3) years of relevant experience required
    • Ability to define web technology needs
    • Ability to effectively gather and analyze requirements
    • Ability to enhance site functionality
    • Ability to ensure best practices for secure content development
    • Ability to recognize KMS and web server issues
    • Ability to effectively add to design and development efforts
    • Experience with browser applications and MOXIE Knowledge Base (or equivalent), HTML (Dreamweaver or Expressions), Visio, and JavaScript are required
    • Ability to correct implementation of Coding Style Sheet (CSS) preferred
    • Ability to address website technical difficulties/user experience preferred
    • Ability to satisfy project-wide graphic design requests preferred
    • Ability to identify HTML code discrepancies preferred
    • Ability to perform application upgrades/address issues preferred
    • Proficiency with Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Acrobat, MS Office preferred
