Collaborates with the business stakeholders to identify and understand business requirements. 


  • Support and actively participate in the systems requirements and specifications gathering, review and verification processes.
  • Translate business requirements into system specifications and functional designs.
  • Support and actively contribute to the elaboration and execution of the various test strategies applicable to the systems projects.
  • Review and monitor execution and completion of system processes.
  • Establish and perform quality reviews of process outputs.
  • Perform activities required to produce system documentation (e.g., design specifications, user manuals) and provide end user.
  • Training as needed.
  • Serve as the point of contact and client interface for data and functional analysis.
  • Participate in project meetings to represent MAXIMUS in addressing needs of the client and other project stakeholders.
  • Other duties as assigned.

The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field. 
  • Minimum of seven years plus experience in systems analysis and/or programming required with project management or leadership responsibilities. 
  • Must have ability to exercise independent judgment in planning, organizing, and performing systems analyst tasks. Some independent judgment required in setting priorities of tasks among multiple assigned projects. 
  • Must have ability to communicate, motivate, and organize projects among a broad spectrum of personnel throughout the network, frequently under deadline pressure. 
  • Knowledge of IS principles and practices, the ability to systematically interpret functional requirements into applications design, and the ability to communicate technical issues to non-technical users/clients. 
  • Competent with WebLogic, Oracle and Citrix systems.
  • Experience with Windows, Unix and Linux operating systems.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills and strong interpersonal, oral and written communications skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers at all levels.
