  • Project/Position Introduction

    The Training Specialist will support Federal projects with graphics and media development, training development, and development of related materials that meet division and project needs, requirements and regulations. Activities include interviewing SMEs (Subject Matter Experts) to determine best practices; designing and developing project training and related materials; delivering staff training (occasional); and assessing training compliance and success.


    • Develop online graphics and media training
    • Develop job aids, procedures and reference guides to be published as support materials
    • Develop presentation materials for instructor-led and web-based training
    • Conduct new hire orientations and training, as needed
    • Create and monitor training records in LMSs (Learning Management Systems)
    • Publish and post materials to our LMS
    • Provide employees technical support related to training, LMS activities, templates, and/or software
    • Test and remediate documents and media for 508 compliance, as needed
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management

    The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree in Graphic Design, Instructional Design, Information Technology, Media Development, or similar field from an accredited college or university required
    • Excellent written and verbal communications skills
    • Experience in web design, graphics, programming, desktop publishing,and  teaching
    • JavaScript and ActionScript skills
    • High proficiency with multimedia programs such as Articulate Storyline, Studio, Adobe Photoshop, and InDesign
    • Knowledge of SCORM (Shareable Content Object Reference Model)
    • 508 Compliant/ADA knowledge preferred
    • Travel - occasionally
    • Medicare Appeals knowledge preferred
    • Proficiency with Adobe Acrobat and Photoshop preferred
    • At least three (3) years of related experience required
