    REMOTE OPPORTUNITY - The Project Manager will oversee the telephone demonstration, reopening demonstration, and all adjudication activities for the DME QIC project.  The Project Manager will oversee a large team of employees including clinical and non-clinical supervisors, clinical and non-clinical adjudicators, letter writers, and all other adjudicatory staff.  The DME QIC will process a large workload of DME appeals and the Project Manager will be responsible for timely adjudicator and quality of decisions.  The Project Manager will also be responsible for tracking workload to ensure proper staffing and distribution of work. 

    Responsibilities

    • Develop and implement operational policies and procedures with key stakeholders
    • Interact, communicate, and coordinate to ensure continuity of Contractor activities and responsibilities,
    • Act as secondary point of contact with the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services
    • Responsible for all Contractor requirements
    • Oversee Contractor business processes and documentation
    • Accountable for obtaining staff to perform Subject Matter Expert (SME) responsibilities for all contract requirements
    • Interact, communicate, and coordinate to ensure continuity of operational activities and responsibilities
    • Lead staff on development and coordination
    • Coordinate and communicate with provider associations and other outside entities, including the general public
    • Initiate and manage system change requests and documentation
    • Accountable for all prime and/or sub-Contractor resources
    • Perform other duties as assigned by management

    The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited college or university required, preferred field of study in Project Management (Substation for 8 years relevant work experience with at least 3 years supervisory or manage experience may be acceptable- work with large groups of employees highly preferred)
    • Experience in a management role for at least three years projects required (large project expertise highly preferred)
    • Management of multiple projects across Federal portfolio ideal
    • Strong written and oral communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively and professionally with all levels of the organization are critical (effective client communication essential)
    • Must be a dependable professional with excellent organizational and interpersonal skills. Initiative, attention to detail, and focus on results a must
    • Ability to travel occasionally required
    • Experience working with Medicare appeals preferred
    • Knowledge of Medicare and/or Durable Medical Equipment Preferred
    • Must have Business Analyst Background
    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
    • Start-up project experience ideal
