    The Senior Analyst will support the Agency’s mission by interpreting results of business processes using a variety of techniques, ranging from simple data aggregation via statistical analysis to complex data mining independently. The position will design, develop, implement and maintain business solutions. The incumbent will also work with main clients and project and business leaders to identify analytical requirements.

    Responsibilities

    • Work collaboratively with Business Analysts to gain an in-depth knowledge of program Financial and Non-Financial processing and Call Center operations
    • Review and understand contract performance metrics and requirements
    • Analyze and make recommendations on how to process on defaulted borrower accounts as systematic clean ups are performed
    • Document processes in order to define requirements for automation
    • Work with operations to document issues as they arise and support operations in triage meetings and providing impact for IA development
    • Provide knowledge and Subject Matter Expert (SME) support for legacy contract Tools
    • Provide SME support such as requirement gathering for the building of a replacement tools solution for phones, Correspondence and eOscar
    • Provide recommendations, information gathering, requirement building, SME support, etc. for database related solutions necessary to increase efficiencies and quality
    • Assist with transitioning of functions from one location to another
    • Review, analyze, and develop recommendations and perform comparative qualitative analysis of benefits and outcomes of business processes
    • Analyze data to determine anomalies and trends, communicate the findings in oral and written communications

     

    The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university required, equivalent experience considered in lieu of degree
    • Five (5) years of experience in requirement and root cause analysis required
    • Three (3) years of progressively responsible production experience preferred
    • Demonstrated abilities in leadership and communications preferred
    • Experience working at a contact or processing center required
    • Ability to successfully lead and direct activities of others required
    • Experience with student financial aid programs/debt collection programs required
    • Creative problem-solving abilities desired
    • PC skills required, including MS Products (Word, Excel, Project, PowerPoint, and Access).
    • Must have demonstrated excellent interpersonal and leadership skills and the ability to organize simultaneous tasks
    • Excellent communication (both verbal and written) skills required
    • Proven ability to work as a member of a team is required
    • PC skills, including MS Office applications, required
    • Demonstrated progressive experience in managing client and partner relationships
    • Excellent organizational, interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills
    • Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment
    • Ability to travel up to 50% of the time
    • Ability to successfully execute many complex tasks simultaneously

    Additional Requirements as per contract/client:

    • Must be current on federal student loans or must not be delinquent on federal student loans
    • Federal security clearance (through MAXIMUS Federal) required
    • U.S citizenship required
