    The Training Supervisor will create, configure, customize, and troubleshoot reports, tools and applications; monitor operating efficiency of existing systems; design and code complex queries, report and perform testing and revise as necessary.

     

    All positions in this project are classified as limited capacity.  This means that the duration of your employment with MAXIMUS is based on business needs and based on the contract requirements of the services provided.  Successful completion of a drug test as a condition of employment is required.

    Responsibilities

    • Create, develop, schedule and train content via eLearning/remote/web-based/instructor-led training sessions including Train the Trainer Sessions
    • Use formulas, macros, data connections, data manipulation, scrubbing, formatting, and reporting preparation/updating and expert use of language tools such VBScript, JavaScript, Tableau, Axway and others
    • Perform analysis and auditing of data sets to uncover insights, develop solutions
    • Review and reverse engineer existing queries, create new queries consisting of multiple joins, views, and complex where statements across multiple databases
    • Interact with internal staff and external customers including managers and employees. Contacts involve exchanging information, tracking status, and coordinating efforts
    • Extract, transform and load big data from different data sources via SSIS and SQL queries
    • Create/Update Job Aids, SOPs, and other training material related to data/reports
    • Perform as a Subject Matter Expert on Data Quality to identify, document, and resolve data quality issues related to business requirements
    • Responsible for researching, writing, coordinating and designing materials that work together cohesively to inform or promote multi-program knowledge, making education and training helpful
    • Coordinate the implementation of new department policies, systems and write policy and internal procedural guidance after clarifying applicability of past practice, emerging guidance and established policies and procedures with SR Training Manager and subject matter experts

    The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

    • Associate’s Degree from an accredited college required
    • Proficiency/Expert Knowledge with Microsoft Office Suite
    • Exceptional presentation and (verbal/written) communication skills
    • Administrative functions such as filing documents, setting up meetings, organize/inventory department resources, and troubleshoot training applications, ids, tools, and additional resources during OEP
    • Programming understanding (XML, Java, VBA, etc.) and experience working with APIs, SharePoint development, Salesforce.com and other systems/databases/tools
    • Experience with SCORM compliance, LMS, and content authoring tools like Adobe Captivate required

    Physical Requirements:

    • Ability to lift or transport objects up to 10 lbs.
    • Ability to sit for up to 80% of time 
    • Ability to Travel
