  • Overview

    Under general direction, the position will translate business needs into technical systems solutions for all Corporate Systems. 


    • Research any Deltek Time and Expense escalated issue along with reprogramming, testing, and deployment of solutions for reported issues
    • Research any Deltek Costpoint escalated issue research, reprogramming, testing, and deployment of solutions for reported issues
    • Manage the Onbase backup system
    • Properly assess, audit, and document technical changes and submit change management tickets prior to deployment
    • Collaborate with key stakeholders to create a technical knowledge database
    • Manage the Symmetry and XML backup system
    • Recommend solutions, platforms, products, tools that will evolve the organizations's corporate processes
    • Coordinate and supervise all activities related to the design, development, and implementation of corporate systems.
    • Ensure adherence to SDLC and standard project management methodologies
    • Analyze change of systems design to determine the effect on the end system design and function and determine and prepare documentation necessary for change
    • Coordinate with customers to determine a comprehensive implementation.
    • Review released change data and change documenting activities to ensure adherence to Change Management procedures and policies
    • Consult with personnel in other IT teams to coordinate relevant activities.
    • Work closely with clients to map and support their operational needs
    • Responsible for developing, distributing, supporting, enforcing, and integrating best practices and technology standards.
    • Prepare activity and progress reports regarding the activities of the applications systems and programming section
    • Troubleshoot and correct system problems as needed
    • Work with team in maintaining system documentation
    • Take corrective actions and perform system data "clean-up" functions as needed
    • Lead testing and deployment of patches and hotfixes for the the applications maintained (i.e. Costpoint & T&E)
    • Develop user guides and training guides for technical and non-technical (i.e. accounting and finance) users
    • Build a comprehensive technical knowledge base and map all the corporate systems
    • Manage third party consultants as needed
    • Install, configure, troubleshoot and administer corporate systems servers as needed
    • Perform other duties as may be assigned by management

    The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with a minimum of 12 years of related experience or,
    • Master's degree with 10 years of related experience
    • Proven track record of back office, ERP, financial, payroll and CRM systems design, implementation, management, facilitating the integration of legacy on-premise software to different platforms with experience leading complex implementations.
    • Experience managing Deltek Costpoint, Deltek Time and Expense, Cognos or Onbase a plus.
    • Proficient at understanding existing technology solutions, processes, requirements, and overall business models within minimal time.
    • Proven record of IT and process detailed documentation, reference materials, and managed technical documentation and IT training materials.
    • Experience in serving as a specialist on complex technical and business matters.
    • Experience as an expert in the field, using professional concepts in developing resolution to critical issues and broad design matters. Significant barriers to entry (e.g., top management review, approval) exist at this level.
