  • Project/Position Introduction

    MAXIMUS is seeking an Operations Analyst in Boston, MA to join the Project Management Office


    The Operations Analyst is a key member of the Project Management Office supporting client communication, change control, problem resolution tracking and coordinating, reporting and project coordination activities. 


    • Seamlessly coordinates MAXIMUS internal and external communication and change processes, and acts as the primary point of contact
    • Works with functional area directors/managers and subject matter experts to define specific change requirements
    • Understands business problems and opportunities in the context of the requirements
    • Increase effectiveness of project documentation such as reports and client communication.
    • Obtains status updates and resolves questions from operational areas 
    • Educates CSC staff on contract performance expectations
    • Draft clear and comprehensive business process documentation to support operational activities
    • Analyze and provide recommendations for internal process improvements
    • Performs other duties as assigned by management

    The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience required
    • One plus year(s) of operations experience preferred 
    • Excellent analytical skills
    • Ability articulate and have a solid understanding of broad business concepts
    • Ability to allocate time efficiently
    • Ability to handle multiple demands, and competing priorities
    • Ability to be flexible and adaptable when dealing with change
    • Strong problem-solving skills and analytical ability
    • Ability to work well, both independently and as part of a team
    • Ability to type and enter data frequently
