  • Project/Position Introduction

    The Associate Analyst-Business Analysis provides support for the Georgia Integrated Eligibility System (EIS) project including capturing and documenting PCS software requirements and providing business analysis support for operations issues.


    The Associate Analyst - Business Analysis collaborates with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, capture, store, and manage business and user requirements for software solutions and performs other analysis activities as needed.


    • Make recommendations to senior analysts in working with business and technology stakeholders to elicit, capture and manage business and user requirements for software solutions
    • Perform assignments within prescribed guidelines from active participation in requirements gathering sessions
    • Propose recommendations for developing detailed business and user requirement artifacts to ensure that project requirements are understood by both business and technology stakeholders
    • Perform analysis on business issues as requested which includes: understanding the issue, gathering input from impacted parties, organizing and analyzing information, and documenting the pros and cons to possible solution options
    • Develop and maintain close working relationships with Senior Business Analysts and other project personnel
    • Research software defects including tracking any defects and evaluating them against the documented requirements
    • Develop and help to execute test scenarios in user acceptance testing with the UAT team
    • Attend meetings, take notes, and provide other project support as requested
    • Perform other duties as assigned by leadership

    The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is required
    • 0-3 years of related experience
    • Strong analytical and organizational skills with a strong attention to detail
    • Strong communication skills, both verbally and in writing, with the ability to communicate effectively and professionally to both technology and business stakeholders
    • Exposure to IT systems development lifecycles using structured methodologies
    • Exposure to with business process modeling
    • Basic understanding of relational databases
    • Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently
    • Proficiency in Microsoft Office products
