-Develops project plans and provides direction and guidance to project staff, individually and in teams, to achieve quality assurance goals. -Assists in the creation and implementation of innovative methodologies to improve enrollment and education services and operations, including the management of high touch outreach efforts to chronic care populations statewide. -Assists the Project Director in his/her efforts to facilitate a functional, motivated, and cohesive project team. -Manages activities of the Health Plan Affairs department, including the provision technical assistance, training and data exchange flows to health plans. -Represents the project, select departments, and performs public speaking. -Works with the Project Director to develop and maintain project budgets and forecasts. -Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of Field and Health Plan Affairs departments to ensure compliance to contract requirements and operational goals; oversees all work processes, makes revisions, and develops protocols, as necessary. -Supports a diverse and remote workforce and identifies and develops successors for direct reports. -Participates in regular client meetings; develops trust, credibility and strong client relations. -Promotes MAXIMUS in a positive and professional manner at all times. -Meets all standards established for this position as outlined in the corresponding annual performance criteria and bonus template for this position. -Performs other duties as may be assigned by Management.
The Ideal Candidate will Possess the Following Additional Education and Experience
Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of project management experience.
Delivers a single large project or multiple smaller projects at the same time.
Makes informed decisions and ensures adherence to budgets.
Recommends innovative methodologies, techniques, and criteria for projects.
Knowledge of workflows and project mapping.
Ability to handle multiple tasks and competing priorities.
Communicates updates and project status effectively and efficiently.
