-Writing responses to Requests for Proposals, Requests for Information, and other federal, state, or international government requests.
-Creating compliant, compelling responses for assigned proposal sections/ topics and creating associated graphics, charts, tables, appendices, and other information in support of proposal development.
-Serving as co-capture on individual proposal development efforts to lead the writing team and work with capture and business development teams to ensure compliant, on-time submission.
-Reviewing and editing proposal responses for consistency, compliance, win theme incorporation, solution accuracy, and other elements during regular and core team review cycles in order to create the final proposal submission.
-Researching relevant corporate, project, client, and industry statistics and data in support of creating proposal responses for all MAXIMUS lines of business, segments, and international entities.
o Manages, perhaps through subordinate supervisors, the coordination of the activities of a section or department with responsibility for results, including costs, methods and staffing.
o In some instances this manager may be responsible for a functional area and not have any subordinate employees.
o Works on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors, including an understanding of current business trends.
o Follows processes and operational policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
o Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve problems.
o Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
o Frequently interacts with subordinate employees, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
o Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
o Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
o Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
o Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
