  • Responsibilities

    -Lead the implementation of process improvement and innovative tools throughout HR to increase overall efficiency and effectiveness.
    -Review current HR processes and manual interventions and partner with HR functions to assist in the adoption of efficient, scalable end-to-end processes.
    -Ensure HRIS staff are trained in process improvement techniques are focused on identifying opportunities to leverage technology to automate processes.
    -Partner with IT to identify and articulate system needs, vendor selection, implementation, upgrade, integration, and maintenance of systems to meet business needs.
    -Lead project planning teams related to major upgrades and system implementations.
    -Collaborate with HR business partners to understand business needs related to human capital information.
    -Provide consultation and analysis to provide information to enhance human capital decision making.
    -Collaborate with IT and legal to ensure the secure storage and movement of human capital information to systems within and outside of MAXIMUS.
    -Develops test plans as needed and oversees successful completion of test phase to move to production.
    -Work closely with vendors and staff to design and test integrations.
    -Put in place processes to ensure data integrity.
    -Manage HRIS budget. Lead cross-functional planning and execution of projects aligned with the HR strategy and including business requirements, process design, functional requirements, data management, testing, and production operations & support design.
    -Manages HRIS projects and staff to achieve HR strategic goals and objectives that require systems and technology related support.
    -Provide functional production support, system configuration & product /data stewardship for the suite of HR tools, and the design and management of inbound and outbound HR data interfaces supporting HR, Payroll, and Benefits.
    -Coordination of multiple HRIS solutions within a heavily matrixed organizational environment.
    -Liaise with divisional and corporate IT departments in coordinating IT projects as well as staying current with IT standard procedures, initiatives, Help Desk changes, and system outages.
    -Ensures compliance with all federal, state and local government legislation as well as working knowledge of international laws and directives with respect to HR related data.
    -Oversee support for ad hoc and scheduled requests for data and metrics reporting; ensure reports meet organization and customer requirements.
    -Oversee user documentation, help guides, information request processes and end user training.
    -Partner with HR business owners and internal clients to evaluate system needs and ongoing support, and evaluate and implement automation between HR systems where appropriate.
    -Support HR effectiveness by partnering with the HR team to define and implement HR processes and procedures that leverage technological capabilities for the collection, maintenance and reporting of data.
    -Oversees system upgrades, system interfaces, data quality/integrity, HR Division web applications.
    -Travel as required.

    • Acts as advisor to subordinate(s) to meet schedules and/or resolve problems.
    • Develops and administers schedules, performance requirements; may have budget responsibilities.
    • Frequently interacts with subordinate employees, customers, and/or functional peer group managers, normally involving matters between functional areas, other company divisions or units, or customers and the company.
    • Often must lead a cooperative effort among members of a project team.
    • Receives assignments in the form of objectives and determines how to use resources to meet schedules and goals.
    • Provides guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies.
    • Recommends changes to policies and establishes procedures that affect immediate organization(s).
