    We are seeking a Senior Software Tester to support our Internal Revenue Service (IRS) client located in Farmers Branch TX. The selected candidate will perform Software Testing tasks in support of the Account Management Services (AMS) production system.

    Selected candidate must be able to work on site at the IRS facility in Farmers Branch TX two days a week. The remaining time may be worked at home.

    • Perform analysis on existing functionalities and testing scripts
    • Create and maintain IRS ELC documentation in support of the project
    • Create, maintain, and execute test scripts
    • Maintain test data
    • Verify Pass/Fail of test scripts through verification of log files
    • Provide status reports
    • Provide and document test results or defects

    QUALIFICATIONS
    • Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college or university required; an additional four (4) years of related experience may substitute for degree
    • At least eight (8) years of relevant experience
    • Experience with integration and system testing
    • Experience in requirements gathering and analysis
    • Experience with Software Development Life Cycle including waterfall and Agile
    • Experience with Agile Sprint testing
    • Experience with browser testing
    • Must be flexible and adaptable, able to support using a wide variety of methods and technologies
    • Ability to interact daily with senior leadership and IRS clients
    • Demonstrated strong analytical and detail orientation skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite

    Preferred qualifications:
    • Knowledge of the IRS Enterprise Life Cycle (ELC)
    • Test Automation
    • Testing batch processes
    • Experience using Rational suite of tools

    Additional Requirements, as per Contract/Client:
    • Candidates must meet requirements to obtain and maintain an IRS Minimum Background Investigation (MBI) clearance (active IRS Moderate Risk MBI clearance is a plus).
    • Candidates must be a US Citizen or a Legal Permanent Resident (Green Card status) for at least three (3) years, and Federal Tax compliant

    • Typically requires a minimum of 8 years of related experience with a Bachelors degree; or 6 years and a Master's degree; or a PhD with 3 years experience; or equivalent experience

    • Exercises judgement in selecting methods, techniques, and evaluation criteria for obtaining results
    • Networks with key contacts outside own area of expertise.
    • Develops solutions to a variety of complex problems.
