    The Senior Windows System Engineer will support the Windows Team with operational duties including problem and incident resolution, server patching, server management, virtual infrastructure management, COTS enterprise product deployment and management, HSPD-12 PIV card support, Group Policy, SCCM, SCOM, BigFix and Solarwinds configuration and management, as well as DNS, DHCP and Active Directory.

    Job Duties
    •Provide senior level operational support to Tier 1, 2 and 3 escalated issues
    •Create, articulate and deliver technical solutions to the Federal customer up to and including the CIO
    •Provide support for ~1,500 Windows servers
    •Manage and be familiar with SCOM 2012, SCCM 2012 Bigfix, and Bigfix
    •Create training material(s) to provide to the customer on all solutions implemented
    •Follow and create standard operating procedures documents on common tasks
    •Experience working side-by-side with customer personnel in a support role
    •Researches, evaluates, and remains current on emerging tools, techniques, and IT technologies
    •Works closely with client to perform technical and requirements analysis
    •Works closely with vendor support to ensure that cases are being worked with an appropriate expediency

    Education and Requirements:
    •Bachelor’s Degree in engineering or science discipline from an accredited college or university required; equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degree
    •MCSE Certification
    •At least eight (8) to ten (10) years of IT experience is required
    •Knowledge of Enterprise Level management of Windows based computers (Patching, group policies, security compliance, Management Tools, WMI/WMI Troubleshooting)
    •Ability to identify, analyze, coordinate, and resolve environment and infrastructure needs to ensure a smooth running application
    •Hands-on experience implementing and maintaining common enterprise solutions
    •Should understand and be comfortable with the following concepts:
    -ITIL
    -Configuration Management
    -Release Management
    •Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to communicate with personnel at all levels in the organization
    •Strong analytical and problem-solving skills

    •CyberArk design and administration experience
    •SailPoint\IIQ administration experience
    •DRA\Aegis administration experience
    •Federation Services SME (ADFS and PING)
    •Cisco WSA experience
    -CDA or WSA Kerberos authentication preferred
    •FISMA controls
    -Understanding audit findings and remediation procedures
    •NIST 800-53
    -Understanding of controls and compliance requirements
    •ServiceNow experience
    -Knowledgebase management
    -Workflow experience
    •DevOps integration experience

    Additional Requirements as per Contract/Client:
    •Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust - Moderate Risk Security Clearance
