    Job Summary:

    The U.S. Census Bureau is the largest statistical agency of the United States Government, providing timely data on the nation's population and economy. The Census Bureau's mission is to serve as the leading source of quality data about the nation's people and economy.

    The 2020 CQA program is the functional group at the Census Bureau that interfaces with citizens over the phone and other communications channels to assist them in responding to and completing 2020 Census Forms.

    MAXIMUS Federal Services (MFS) is seeking a Site Admin to join our 2020 CQA Human Capital team. As a Site Admin -You will provide administrative support to project and operations management with minimal supervision using strong judgement, as well as work in partnerships within 2020 CQA Human Capital Team.

    Duties/Responsibilities:

    -Including identifying, anticipating and meeting needs of all departments during times of high work volume, such as ramp-ups.
    -Screen telephone calls, visitors, and incoming correspondence, take action based on priority level, and task action items to appropriate staff members.
    -Schedule appointments and make arrangements for meetings and conferences.
    -Prepare materials for meetings, inform supervisor on matters to be considered based on knowledge at hand, attend meetings to record minutes, and prepare and distribute meeting minutes within prescribed time frames.
    -Enter production and quality data for reporting.
    -Maintain adequate office supplies for various departments, with consideration of associated costs and best practices.
    -Prepare invoices for Accounts Payable.
    -Coordinate personnel and administrative forms and forward them to appropriate parties for processing.
    -Compose correspondence, for review, on behalf of supervisor or other management personnel.
    -Maintain the site’s employee contact phone tree and locker assignments.
    -Create and distribute a variety of office/program communications such as alerts and bulletin boards.
    -Establish and maintain productive relationships with site vendors.
    -Prepare and submit travel requests on behalf of employees.
    -Prepare ad-hoc reports, documents, summaries, etc. from various sources based on requests for information with minimal guidance .
    -Advise lower-level employees on processes and procedures, as needed.

    Education/Certification Requirements:

    -High School Diploma required.
    -Associate's degree preferred.
    -2 years of relevant work experience required.

    Additional Requirements as per contract/client:

    -In accordance with contractual requirements: Employment and continued employment is contingent upon obtaining and maintaining a favorable initial and final suitability determination, which will be decided in the sole discretion of the Census Bureau.

    Background Experience and Skills Requirements:

    -Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office Products.
    - 2 years of Administrative experience preferred
