    Job Description Summary

    This position is contingent upon award

    The program services include all operation of all identified transition assistance places of performance; providing pre-separation and initial counseling; personalized transition and financial counseling; individual transition planning advice; Career Skills Program support; employment-seeking assistance; marketing and career/hiring event support; and assisting employers with connecting their open positions with the transitioning service member population. The specific duties include, but are not limited to:

    •Counseling services tailored to all Integrated Disability Evaluation System (IDES) clients
    •Track transition services provided to all IDES clients
    •Transition efforts shall be coordinated with the SFAC Director and the DGR.
    •Report Soldier issues IAW local and higher headquarters policies.
    •Receive guidance from the DGR on transferring SFAC-assigned staff and clients to local B&M
    •Provide as-needed TAP XXI Reports to the Government.
    •Review all TAP XXI reports for applicability, duplication and possible elimination.
    •Submit reports
    •Provide a quarterly summary of client critiques (what went right, what went wrong and corrective actions if required) to the COR and DGR.
    •Provide the number and percentage of eligible clients, electing to reenlist after initiating transition services, as part of the MSR.
    •Track, monitor, and report all functions, activities and attendance of the SFL- TAP, DOLEW, VOW and CRS in the MSR. Track attendance by event and mark completion in the transition tracking system once the clients attends all sessions.
    •Provide a list of the workshop events conducted the previous month
    •Report the number of Soldiers completing the VA Benefits Briefings six months prior to separation, and the number of Soldiers completing with less than six months reported each month, as part of the Pre-separation Counseling Report.

    Position Qualifications:
    •Military environment - working experience
    •Military clients experience
    •Training, Career Counseling or Human Resources experience
    •Computer competency including Microsoft Office products


    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    - Perform operations research to qualify new opportunities, including analysis of project data, financial forecast, documented requirements, current customer preferences, competitive environment assessments, and staff strengths and weaknesses.
    - Participate in meetings with customers (internal and external), clients, and teammates to develop insight on requirements, operations strategy, partnership opportunities, and contract tracking and development.
    - Assist with program development during start up and for selected ongoing operations and provide detailed reports on activities to operation senior staff, division managers, and program managers.
    - Actively participate in the overall strategic planning by linking project-specific activities with broader needs across the division Interacts routinely with all levels of operation and group management, infrastructure POCs, staff, and customers, and follow through on tasking.
    - Conduct after action reviews for all operations staff to document lessons learned and identify necessary adjustments to technique, strategy, and actions.
    - Develop and implement modeling and evaluation processes to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities.
    - Conduct statistical analyses and evaluates a wide variety of information to assess operational difficulties and develop solutions to complex problems, including escalated issues.
    - Design and implement process improvements that enhance customer service and optimize business operational efficiency and quality.
    - Create, analyze and deliver customized reporting for both internal and external audiences.
    - Develop high-quality communications suitable for clients.

    Minimum Requirements:
    - Associate degree with 0-3 years of experience.
