    Job Description Summary

    Perform responsibilities as the financial lead of a sector involving FP&A and budgeting dealing withannual as well quarterly and monthly forecasts. Must be able to manage multiple projects within a portfolio and review month end financials and provide details on any variances, etc.

    Job Description Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    - Perform all project finance functions in accordance with company policy and manuals.
    - Prepare client invoices in conformance with MAXIMUS policy and client requirement to ensure projects are billed accurately and timely.
    - Prepare and/or review Project financial forecasts with the Program Management and the MAXIMUS
    Federal Civilian Division Finance Manager closely tracking the program performance and provide timely variance and Risk and Opportunity analysis.
    - Perform monthly reconciliation on subcontractor invoices with the MAXIMUS DELTEK system.
    - Prepare and/or monitor vendor and expense report transaction processing to ensure that expenses are accurate and processed correctly.
    - Review time-charges and practices to ensure that project staff are reporting time accurately and against appropriate projects.
    - Provide input for the program’s monthly, quarterly and annual forecasting for financial and business planning.
    - Review contract modifications along with the Program Manager and Contract Manager, maintain financial contract files, and prepare reports, documentation and presentations as appropriate.
    - Prepare routine and ad-hoc financial reports and analysis using MAXIMUS proprietary tools, Enterprise solutions and Excel.

    Minimum Requirements:
    - Typically requires a minimum of 3+ years of related experience with a Bachelor's degree
    - Works on problems of diverse scope where analysis of data requires evaluation of identifiable factors.
    - Demonstrate good judgement in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
    - Network with senior internal and external personnel in own area of expertise.

    - Bachelor's degree with 4+ years of experience.
    - May have additional training or education in area of specialization.
    - Develop solutions to a variety of problems of moderate scope & complexity.
    - General application of concepts & principles.
    - Contribute to the completion of organizational projects & goals.
    - Frequent use and general knowledge of industry practices, techniques, and standards.
    - Apply knowledge and skills to complete a wide range of tasks.
    - Communicate on complex or sensitive issues or drafts such responses for supervisor or manager.
