    Job Description Summary

    *This position is contingent upon award

    Manage the contract and customer relationship for the group supporting MAXIMUS Federal Services mailroom and imaging operations. Functions of operations include mail receiving, document prep and deprep, scanning, quality control, and records storage.

    Job Duties:
    -Responsible for the overall operation of the project, including, execution of effective program control activities, performance, quality and all service level agreements, according to the contract.
    -Work with the Operational Delivery lead to lead the Project.
    -Provide direct oversight and management of the project control activities, including financial controls and vendor subcontracts, making certain that the project is in compliance with all contract and MAXIMUS requirements, expected deliverables and all applicable regulations.
    -Provide oversight for all project operations in compliance with the Project Management Manual and the MAXIMUS Authority Matrix.
    -Prepare briefings, reports and data for organizational unit, division and segment leadership representing the program.
    -Manage sub-contracts, ensuring appropriate flow-downs of contract requirements and metrics, monitoring partner performance.
    -Oversee management of project scope, technical resources, finances, technical integration, risk, change and communications (this includes operations and maintenance as well as software development projects).
    -Oversee operations and activities performed by a variety of components in multiple locations.
    -Review all project plans and reports prior to client submission.
    -Manage program finances to ensure compliance with MFS goals.
    -Work with shared services (Contracts, Human Capital, AR/AP, Finance, etc.) to ensure effective administrative management and operations of the program.
    -Develop Resource Plans to ensure all appropriate staff, including technical, management and support positions, are available to meet program goals.
    -Establish and maintain a productive relationship with a variety of client and stakeholder points of contact.
    -Engage with and maintain positive client relationship.
    -Coordinate MAXIMUS and client meetings according to contractual requirements or as needed.
    -Ensure minutes of all meetings are kept and distributed.
    -Identify additional business opportunities at customer agency.
    -Perform other duties as assigned by leadership.

    Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Health, Social Services or equivalent work experience required.

    Education Preferred: Master’s degree or higher from an accredited college or equivalent experience preferred

    -Provides leadership for the project team to ensure that the project is delivered to specifications, on time and within budget.
    -Develops innovative methodologies, techniques, and criteria for projects.
    -Advanced knowledge of workflows and project mapping.
    -Facilitates the tracking and resolution of issues impacting projects.
    -Strong people skills.

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
    - Develop strategies and tactical implementation of new products and improvements to existing product lines. 
    - Work closely with business development and sales groups to identify upcoming needs.
    - Develop a detailed plan for implementation and roll out.
    - Follow up by evaluating product performance.

    Minimum Requirements:

    - Bachelor's degree with 7+ years of project management experience.
    - Delivers multiple small and large projects with high values and high risk.
    - Provides leadership for the project team to ensure that the project is delivered to specifications, on time and within budget.
    - Develops innovative methodologies, techniques, and criteria for projects.
    - Advanced knowledge of workflows and project mapping.
    - Facilitates the tracking and resolution of issues impacting projects.
