    Job Description Summary

    *This position is contingent upon award

    Ensure accuracy of data entered, perform QA/QC for appropriateness of codes selected and provide feedback.

    Job Duties:
    •Provide QA/QC of data entered
    •Provide feedback to data entry staff using a database designed to capture, track and report errors
    •Resolve medical coding adverse event forms using current coding terms
    •Ensure coding in accordance with the FDA instructions for coding and ICH Coding Principals
    •Use and direct personnel to code from Adverse Event Report forms using International Medical Terminology
    •Perform data entry as needed

    Education Required: Bachelor’s degree in related health science, such as nurse, pharmacist, veterinarians, and/or certified/licensed technicians, as appropriate for each center

    Skills / Knowledge Required:
    •Excellent computer skills.
    •Strong communication and customer service skills.
    •Adherence to Document Management protocols.
    •Ability to abstract data and utilize that information for continual process improvements
    •Planning and organizing work and the work of others.
    •Perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
    •Ensure accuracy of all data entered into critical fields according to the Standard Operating Procedures.
    •2 years managerial experience
    •Medical Terminology

     

    Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

    Minimum Requirements:
    - Bachelor's degree with 3-5 years of experience consulting within designated function.
    - Develop solutions to complex problems which require regular use of ingenuity and innovation.
    - Interpret applicable regulations and policies associated with case to determine recommendation.
    - Plan implementation, training, and solution deployment.
    - Ensure solutions are consistent with organization objectives.
    - Regularly contributes to the development of new concepts, techniques, and standards requiring varied interpersonal and technical skills.
    - Considered expert in field within the organization.
