Job Introduction

The Certification Tracking Specialist (CTS) supporting the Veterans Evaluation Services (VES) administered by Maximus, makes an impact everyday by following up with providers who have yet to complete all mandated VA DMA modules for the purposes of completing VA Compensation and Pension exams. The CTS’s will work for Provider Development and Retention and communicate heavily in both written and verbal form with the Scheduling, Provider Recruiter and Credentialing teams. To prepare you for this role, the VES provides paid, comprehensive training which ensures all new employees provide the highest levels of knowledge and professionalism.

Job Description Summary

Primary Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain a daily spreadsheet of active providers pending DMA
  • Update comments in NND documenting follow up with providers until completion of DMA
  • Routinely communicates with PDR and PRC on status or priority providers pending DMA
  • Provides feedback on providers who are struggling with DMA content to Provider Development and Retention
  • Notify PDR, PRC, and Scheduling upon completion/updating of DMA
  • Works closely with other teams within Provider Development and Retention for provider outreach on special projects (new DMA updates, etc.)
  • Assists with occasional overflow of Provider Relations Specialists and Report Tracking Specialists if needed
  • Place and answer phone calls to and from medical providers
  • Maintain a high sense of urgency at all times
  • Attend meetings as directed
  • Adapt to new instructions, requests or procedures as provided

Education and Experience Requirements

Minimum Requirements: 

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • One to three months related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memoranda
  • Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to customers, clients and other employees if the organization
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide all units of measure
  • Ability to compute rate, ratio and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs
  • Work effectively within a team dynamic
  • Ability to address concern or problems as they arise
  • Proficient in the following computer software: Microsoft Excel, Internet functions (searches, research), Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Outlook.
  • Extended hours are occasionally required beyond the regular eight-hour workday

 

Home Office Requirements:

  • Internet speed of 20mbps or higher required (you can test this by going to www.speedtest.net)
  • Preferred Windows or Mac (no Chromebook) that is no more than 5 years old
    • OS for Windows – Windows 10
    • OS for Mac – Big Sur (11.0.1+); Catalina (10.15)
  • Preferred memory – 4+ GB
  • If you need an additional monitor, you will need to purchase separately with company reimbursement up to $120
  • Hardwired internet (ethernet) connection
  • Private work area and adequate power source
