The Case Management Supervisor is responsible for supervising, evaluating, training, developing, and counseling case management staff.
**Candidate must live or be willing to relocate to Washington DC.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ensure contractual obligations are met by identifying, recommending, and/or developing quality improvement strategies through the evaluation of staff performance standards and project performance measures.
- Identify training needs and development opportunities for subordinates.
- Develop work schedules and assign duties to subordinates to ensure efficiency.
- Discuss job performance concerns with subordinates to identify causes and issues and work closely with the Human Resources department on resolving problems.
- Participate in the work of subordinates to facilitate productivity or to overcome difficult aspects of work.
- Evaluate subordinates' job performance and recommend appropriate personnel action.
- Ensure compliance with company Wage & Hour policy, including ensuring non-exempt employees get the rest & meal breaks.
- Comply with all company required policies, procedures and processes including but not limited to required training.
- Evaluate systems and data to improve quality control and process improvements.
- Conduct process improvement utilizing project reports.
- Report issues, problems and concerns to management.
- Perform other duties as may be assigned by management.
Minimum Requirements:
- Ability to work with customers in a caring and respectful manner and with due understanding of and consideration for their unique circumstances.
- Broad knowledge of human services programs.
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to perform comfortably in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented work environment.
- Ability to work as a team member, as well as independently.
- Associate degree or equivalent combination of education, technical training or work experience considered in lieu of degree.
- Minimum of two (2) years of related experience.
- Minimum two (2) years supervisory experience in case management; automated data systems; working with disadvantaged populations.
